Pro-Sweetenham bias

[edit]

This article is so biassed it could have been written by Sweetenham himself.

For example, it does not mention his shape, size and weight which (a) contribute to his "in your face" aggressive and menacing way of dealing with his juvenile charges, and (b) caused him to fall out of a moving team bus that was turning a corner and break his leg in Germany in 1983.

Wiki is a place for information and fact; not for Panegyrics. Furthermore, the article needs to give details of Sweetenham's birth, family, schooling, "administrative career" at the AIS, relationships, progeny, etc.; and, most important of all, a description of his non-existent sporting career as an athlete (a very significant factor in his attitude towards those he coaches).129.94.6.28 21:57, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The statement in the above is false, unkind and incorrect. Sweetenham's weight became a problem after he fell out of the back of a moving mini-bus in Germany. His injuries were so severe that he has since had to take regular doses of steroids and painkillers which contribute to his size and make it impossible for him to carry out heavy exercise of any kind. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.179.71.176 (talk) 14:54, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This Article is shocking for the inability of contributers to maintain neutrality, or wikipedia standards. This is not the place to rehash or decide arguments about the man, or to attack or defend him. Simply state the facts, and take the campaigning elsewhere.
